     Against the Grain can apply finish to new furniture that our clients are welcome to purchase from us or another source. There are various furniture outlets throughout the area and online that offer new unfinished furniture.

     Against the Grain  repairs  various flaws and structural damage to furniture. Among the problems commonly repaired are loose chair and table legs, cracked or broken parts, damaged hardware, and the inevitable pet chews, chips, scratches, and stains.

     Against the Grain provides stripping only services. We do not use dip tanks or harsh chemicals that can have a detrimental effect on the wood grain and  which keeps the furniture intact. Let us complete the most strenuous and tedious part of the refinishing process.
